I just love it when somebody who doesn’t dress like a good singer, doesn’t act like a good singer, and then one day, on a nationwide talent show, while the judges and audience pre-judge him, he goes out sing his piece, then boom! ..ends up being a somebody.
That’s exactly what Kevin Skinner did. I see some similarities with Kevin Skinner and Susan Boyle. Kevin is already 35 and a Kentucky farmer. Nobody would think that a lowly chicken farmer can sing like that. Much like how Susan Boyle was before she uttered the first few notes in her song.
I think Kevin Skinner’s performance is truly great and he will be a contender in this season’s America’s Got Talent. The judges and the audience were amazed with him. Kevinn even got a standing ovation from the audience and from David Hasselhoff.

You know, this guy is really something. I have a soft spot for country boys, even though I’m not a country girl, and especially talented ones like him! There’s nothing fake about this guy. He appears to be truly genuine. I’m not a big “fan” that follows people’s success very closely, but he intrigues me. I really hope he wins and that his life can somehow stay simple, only better!!!
